While living in California, I took a course in herbology called the “Twelve most powerful common herbs.” These herbs are considered by many herbalists to be the most powerful curatives among “everyday herbs,” and a good starting point for learning the symptom/herb relationship, and stocking a home herbal medicine chest. Premier to learning this relationship is knowing when to prescribe a particular herb, and under which circumstance, not to.
